So my doctor wanted me to come in for the random bleeding. Hubby is an hour away at work and the office would be closed before he got here. My mom's car broke down this morning so she couldn't take me. So I called my sister. She lives literally a block away from my mom. I explained that the office closed in an hour so I would have to leave on the next 20 minutes and she said that was fine, she could take me and she would be right over. I thanked her and was just laying down waiting.

Well next time I checked the clock it had been a half hour. So I called her back since the office was closing soon. She said she was on mom's street so I said OK and was gonna just try to make it before they closed. Well ten minutes later she still wasn't here (my mom's street is less than a half mile long) so my mom called her back. She answered but the service was bad and had really bad static and we couldn't make out a thing she said. So mom told her (in no way being rude) hey we can't hear you at all so we're just going to hang up. Well my sister finally got her and she storms in yelling about how she could hear us talking shit about her (which we never did the only comment made was directed at her which was just us saying we couldn't hear her) we were trying to explain that thinking maybe she just misheard us through the static but she just kept on yelling about how selfish I'm being by asking her to take me. We explained to her that I'm bleeding and (while I don't think it's anything serious) my doctor wants to be sure it's not related to preterm labor since I have a history of miscarriages. She starts yelling again about how my mom is just pitying me by agreeing that I need to go to the hospital and how horrible I am and how selfish I'm being. And (no joke ladies I swear to god) she said I was being selfish because she's trying to put together her new couch at home and obviously there isn't any reason I can't wait until tomorrow to see the doctor since I'm not bent over in pain so why should she have to stop building her couch.

I'm so angry. Like are you fucking kidding me? Your couch is more important than the life of my child?!? I don't even know what to say. I mean she could have just said she can't take me and I would have called someone else.

So now I won't see the doctor until tomorrow so I guess hopefully I'm right and nothing serious is wrong
