Question for 2 time mothers: Do you/ Did you rush to hospital straight after your water broke? As I…

They like to check you after your waters have broken. last time they told me to go straight in but I had a cup of tea first haha. This time I think unless something seemed unusual I would wait an hour or two to see if I started getting contractions

@tuftyturtle, lool I would prefer to get contractions at home where I am comfy but was reading some women dont get contraction until hrs later

No sometimes you don't. more than 24 hours they induce you. Like I said I would tell them 1 or 2 hours later

My contractions started first and as the head was about to be born.... Then my waters broke

when my waters broke i went and had a bath got ready and went. not rushing but not taking my time either x

I was told thought ur my entire pregnancy that as soon as ur waters break u head straight to the hospital as there's a direct route to the baby so the risk of infection is greater!
