41 weeks today. Monday I was STILL only a fingertip dilated 😒 however I'm getting induced in the morning.. Will the induction process be more painful than not being induced? Or is the pain about the same?
I promise it's worth the few hours of pain , as soon as they say u can have the epidural get it , and rest until she comes once you see that precious lil human being you created , your will be so glad you did it @kiicarnelly
But it could depend on your doctor as well so I would ask your doctor they will give other drugs in the mean time like Demerol it gets u high lol but not much of a pain relief when those contractions start really coming it mostly just helps to sleep between contractions @kiicarnelly
Lol it sucks but I promise it's so worth it when it's over you will be fine if it gets to be to much I say go for the epidural ! Can't wait to see your lil one ! 😊
I was the same way with getting the epidural I did not want it at all im praying I don't need it this time but at those moments I had no other options I tried every other drug they can give I had to get it but I have to say once I did it was all smooth sailing I slept till It was time to push @babymercado
Ohh so since the meds bring on the contractions stronger and faster does that mean I don't have to worry about being in labor for a longggg time? @krys
The meds they give to induce the labor cause the contractions to come on stronger and faster , it's extremely painful both ways as I've had 2 natural and 2 I was induced , but with both inductions I had to have the epidural ! :(
