I was 2 cm. they gave me pitocin and the other thing that they insert into you and nothing worked they had me going back and fourth between the 2. no contractions or anything. the 3rd day I was in the hospital my water finally broke on its own early in the morning after they gave me a break over night. I had her at 4:14 pm once my eater broke my contractions hurt very bad.

It just sucks cause you go from some pain to ridiculous pain... it doesn't gradually build up so it hits you in the face. But it isn't so bad, it pretty much depends on each person's pain tolerance.

pitocin hurts though

if you are dilated already it usually moves much quicker then if you arent.

It depends on if you are dilated or not in my experience
