Ughhhh this is awful. First of all, I'm 9w3ds and today my bf left me. He is a recovering addict and up until two days ago, he's been ecstatic and perfect about the baby coming. I've noticed over the last couple of days that he's been "off" and I kept questioning him.
Well today we had a fight and I ended up finding a bunch of pills in his winter coat pocket. I flushed them down the toilet and he admitted to me that he filled them the other day when I was out and has been abusing them.
Then he proceeded to pack up his clothes and leave. I asked him to get help and reconsider leaving but he said "he's not ready to be a dad and he will never change". So he took off with no phone, no money and just clothes in a bag.
Now I don't know where he is. He's done this before to me a while ago and always calls me from a hospital or rehab and then I take him back. He'd been clean for 6 months which is why I took him back and decided to have a baby together.
Now I'm so upset and confused. I just needed to vent because it's so devasting to me. I'm heartbroken and need advice.

Sorry to hear about your situation it sounds like your bf is not in a good place and he needs to get the right help.
As for you, I know is hard but you also gotta think about your baby and yourself. Try to enjoy your pregnancy, there's a lot of things to worry about as your pregnancy progresses. Let him get better and you build yourself stronger, you'll be okay either with or without him.

Your better off without him, he a drug addict and you and baby don't need that in your life he can't get his act right then that's the best thing he can do for you is leave, you don't need that stress cuz ur pregnant and your baby don't need a half ass father that won't change his was for them. So focused on yourself and your bundle of joy and pray things will eventually get better and god will bring a real man in your life that will love you and baby, wishing you all the best

Oh wow I'm sorry about all you're going through! He needs to take time to seek help for a longer period of time. You have to stay strong for you and your baby! There are plenty of moms out there and here on Preggie who are pregnant and doing it alone for whatever the reason, so don't think you're alone! Confide in someone who knows just how you feel! I still have the crib for you if you'd like it. If not, no worries, we will ship it to another country who could use it! ❤️
