Has any one took Metformin before? If so what kind of side effects did you experience?

I did and I didn't have any side effects from it but that is how I ended up pregnant with my son. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and they put me on it to help the cyst from causing so much pain and it made me ovulate so I think that's the only side effect I guess you could say.

I took it and currently taking it now but I had diarrhea (sorry for tmi) plus b it help me to lose weight. And like @bentleyandmommy that's how got pregnant as well.

my sister had same situation as above...she got pregnate...and her son is autistic. she says maybe meds influence it..as well as stress and diabetes....for my own pregnacy i am using insulin. and praying for healthy baby.

@heaven I took it for my diabetes it gave me diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, loss of appetite, blood sugar spikes, and I finally just got off of it
