i am 36 pregnant. is the baby considered full term now or is it 40 wks the baby is fully developed

I thought it was 38 weeks cause I was told I would be preterm at 37 wks

My friends who are nurse said 37 weeks is considered full-term

Depends on the dr honestly. But my dr told me 37wks is full term but that 40wks is better. Some Drs will say 36wks but still push for 37 and up
