It was painful but going to lie but worth it, way better then contractions, I do know they say let them know when I was about to have a contraction and I never let them know cause I couldn't feel it then. But not bad, they had to do two takes cause i was so tall and the bed was high and the anesthesiologist wad short (I'm 5'8 And she was like 5'4

I didn't feel the epidural but I did feel the numbing shot. All they do is when u tell them u ready for the epidural when they ask u they call the person that does them and it took them 30 mins to get to my room. then the Dr found a good spot and the nurse got.in front of me and held.my hand and kept me steady and then once a contraction hit the Dr doing the epidural put the needle in my back.

I could focus on what was going on around me other than just focusing on the pain. I didn't feel A THING after I got it. I had a great connection with my mother because she was in the room with me helping me push along with my boyfriend. It was honestly awesome. I wouldn't want it any other way.

It hurts like hell getting :( but oh I loved it it made me feel amazing !! When they put it in I got this electric shock go down my leg and a sharp pain in my back. For me it only numbed me from my waist down.

My suggestion, get it before your contractions get too intense that way it won't be hard for you to stay still. I got the epidural when my contractions were becoming intense but they were still like 5-6 minutes apart. It took them about 15 minutes to put it in, but I also have scoliosis (curved spine) so they had to make sure they put it in correctly. It's heaven. Made my labor experience amazing 💕

Honestly it didn't hurt for me, but they told me to stay still. During contractions I had to move though

They have a anesthesiologist come in and talk to you first about it then they have a sit still with your back curves a little feeling you're spine they go in with a little needle it hurts like hell and at least for me did and I could take several Times before they get it but after that it just numbs you from your breasts down and it feels amazing unless you itch like me
