I read a post this morning about a lady who wasn't noticing them. So I think it's very possible.

my mom had them still time them even if they don't hurt

yes I had them thru my entire labor I just keep track of them and I was in active labor it barely felt like somone was pinching me my stomach was Rock hard but couldn't feel anything

yes, had them with three of mine up until my water was broke...

yup I ddn't feel anything at all :/
