Birth Plan Rant

I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

Am I the only one that does NOT have a birth plan? I mean I just plan on going with the flow really...

Parents of only one gender!!

Do u ever get upset that u only have one gender of children?!? I have 2 boys and I would love to have had a girl but it just wasn’t in the cards for me. I love my boys with all my heart and soul but I often think about what it would be like to have a little girl of my own!! I have plenty of nieces but not a girl of my own!! This day will always be the best day of my life. It's the day I gave birth to the most beautiful, precious little girl the world has ever had.

girls I am close to give birth I am 39 weeks and my due date is on 7th December. So I am planning on having epidural for pain relief. But I would like to hear ur comments on Epidural from the girls that already been through it. 😊xx
