So im reading up on menstruation and breastfeeding and it says that women who exclusively breastfeed (ie: no bottles/pacifiers used to soothe, no solid food or liquids just the breast), who aren't separated from their baby, who co sleep for night feedings and naps, nurse frequently lon demand and avoid schedules will experience at least a year without getting their period.
My question is for the working moms who breastfeed, but pump when they're at work or away from baby and use pacifiers to soothe. How long have you been doing it, and did your period still return?

I don't think I got a period the entire first year. I did most of those things listed. But my son was at the sitter from 3-6 months full time. Then I went to 3 days a week. He started sleeping with us at 5 months. An I stopped bf at a year old. I also had in a IUD

My son 3months and 1 week he was born march 6th I still have not got my period. and I give him formula and boob lol and he takes a paci.I guess everyone's body is different.

I did everything on that list and I got my period back the month after I had my son. My Son never left my side literally I think everybody's bodies just different
