Tell them to kiss your ass. It is yours and your baby's dads decision. Forget what anyone else says or thinks. I got my son circumsized and it was the best thing I could donfor him because he has real bad eczema that spreads all the way down there. I say go for it hun!!

Why does it matter to them what you do with YOUR child, they're not going into labor for you. They're being ignorant and selfish especially if they're still saying that after you told them it was doctors orders.

@ngujen, right ? it's None stop my bf didn't get circumsized at first than the infections started and he HAD to get it done at the age of 7. but his mom called me a bad mom because my son has to have it done as well?

@kaidenleewadesmommy, ask her if she wants you to go through what she did when your boyfriend needed it done at age 7. Better done at a younger age when they can't remember, especially if it lowers risk of infections. I'd tell her to mind her own business and if she wants to do something to go have another kid. It's your child, you do what you need to. Mother's always knows best. Trust me. People have been telling me what I need to do and what not to do and I'm just like please, shut up. This is MY child, not yours.

I got my boys done. If they saw the patients I cared for in the nursing home with their foreskin grown over their penis head they might think differently. I also did it because a couple of my cousins got really bad reoccurring infections and had to have it done at ages 6 and 12 which is much more painful then. It's up to every parent to decide and I don't feel either choice is wrong. They should not have a say in medical decisions you make with your doctor.
