How to Handle Awkwardness When Pumping at Work?
Everyone at work makes me feel so awkward when I have to pump. Singing songs and making jokes seems kinda inappropriate .. And having to ask makes me even more uncomfortable - I'm not only a mother but I'm an adult, I shouldn't have to ask if I can pump milk for my daughter.
(Currently pumping at work)

It's even my managers doing it so I feel like I can't talk to them about it @js mith814

Singing songs and making jokes about you needing to pump is sexual harassment. Maybe talk to them first and if they don't knock it off talk to HR?

Sorry you have to go through that. People need to grow up. What you're doing is amazing. Don't let them get to you.

Go higher up! You should never feel uncomfortable in the workplace - especially with something that pertains to your health!
