well baby will get here one way or another. I am hoping to not be induced either.

I can't reach mine but my doctor is able to but barely. I'm at 3cm though. From what I've read the cervix should move down with contractions during active labor. Mine moved down with my oldest son once I got to about a 4. It just took forever it seemed.

I was the same way with my son an I never progressed. I'm questioning if I didn't progress bc I'm posterior. The doctor just keeps telling me it's really thick. I've been using evening primrose an I don't think anything is working. What gets me is that I can feel like cervix if I'm sitting on the toilet. But my doctor can't find it.

39 weeks exactly. my exams hurt too because mine is so far back.

How far along were you? @junebaby I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead an My doctor can never reach my cervix. He says that it's to far back there. An I know he will induce me.

yes I had one with my youngest son and it's also posterior with this baby. My youngest son was an 18 hour labor but had him with no problems. just took awhile
