in the beginning it was how sick I always felt. later on she was always stuck in my ribs. most painful thing ever.

38 weeks exactly.

6⃣▶️ Was there any complications to your delivery; what were they? 〰💠〰

I had gbs and baby couldn't stay in too long after my water broke. my contractions stopped completely and had to get pitocin. after 15 hours of natural labor I had only dilated from 2-4cm. I was in so much pain from how close and strong the pitocin made my contractions to where I couldn't relax enough to dialate. I could only be in labor for 3 more hours before I had to get a c-section because she could've gotten an infection. my plan for natural birth went down the drain and I got an epidural and I'm so glad I did because I went from 4cm to 10cm in 1 1/2 hours. I LOVED IT. baby was also facing up and had her hand on her face as I was pushing her out so I tore very badly.

the fact my contractions were so strong I couldn't relax and wasn't dilating.

after I gave birth and got stitched up and she got checked out and I was breast feeding her.

I miss everything. that was the most special day of my entire life. I'd do it over and over again if I could.

be patient and don't be afraid to ask for help when I needed it. I was exhausted and emotional and I don't know how I could have made it without the support I had!
