1⃣▶️ Worst Pregnancy Symptom?
Nausea. I had severe nausea throughout my first and second trimester. Lost a lot of weight and could hardly keep anything down. It went away in my second trimester.

2⃣▶️ How many weeks were you when you delivered?
Admitted into the hospital at 37&4, actually had him at 37&5!

3⃣▶️ How did you deliver your baby? Vaginal, Planned or Unplanned C-Section?
Unplanned Emergency C-Section...
〰💠〰
4⃣▶️ Hospital, Birthing Center, Home, or other?
Hospital

5⃣▶️ Before pain medication, what was your pain on a scale from 1-10?
I don't remember the strong contractions but I remember crying for the epidural...so probably a 10!
〰💠〰
6⃣▶️ Was there any complications to your delivery; what were they?
After 15 hours of labor I hadn't made it past 4cm dilation...I was sent in for a C-Section and we discovered he had his cord wrapped around his neck, twice, preventing him from moving into the birth canal. We got lucky.

7⃣▶️ What was the hardest part of D-Day?
Facing a c-section I wasn't prepared for...and seeing my mother and husband. They were terrified. I'll always remember how worried they looked.
〰💠〰
8⃣▶️ When did you realize it was all worth it?
I guess it was when I first heard him cry and could hear them call out the stats. I started crying. But it didn't really set in till I felt the need to hold my baby and I couldn't. That emotion and need showed me it was worth every bit of the nine months of pain, 15 hours of labor, and major abdominal surgery!

9⃣▶️ Do you miss anything about that special day?
The only thing I miss about the whole experience is having my baby in my arms for the first time...seeing my husband examine every finger nail and hair follicle on him! I miss the little things like the sounds he made...I said they were somewhere in-between baby dragon sounds or little squeak toy sounds!

1⃣0⃣▶️ As a new mom, what was your first lesson you had to learn in the first few days after delivering?
I had to first learn I could NOT do this by myself...because I couldn't do anything for him at all the first two days. I was lucky to get a good view of him getting his diaper changed. I didn't even feel like his mom and it was depressing. Everyone else had a turn at burping him and changing his diaper but I couldn't even get out of bed for three days without the help of my husband or nurses.
