when you get your boy circumcised what happens? like the care afterwards and is he in a lot of pain?

And how soon after he's born does it get done?

some hospitals doesn't do them, some can do the procedure right after birth, some wait a month. The baby will not be in pain and its fast recovery.

some do it not long after birth some do it right before you leave the hospital. the numb the little peepee before they do it and they make sure it stays numb for awhile. its weird but watch YouTube videos thats how i found out.

i had three and they were a month after a week after and 6 months let me tell you its hard work after! they were cranky and any sudden move they were screaming this happend for about two days with all my boys after the medicine wore off gauze pads and Vaseline will be your best friend

@bethlb, awe. :/ poor little guys! I feel bad hurting them but my husband wants it done and I know people say it's cleaner. did you feel bad at all afterwards that they were in pain because of it? you don't have to answer that . I just feel like I will feel horrible afterwards while 5hey are in pain from it. hopefully by then my mood will change

i felt horrible but i knew it was what needed to be done (my opinion) they weren't in constant pain just grumpy but it was like sudden movements caused discomfort if you want to do it go for it! it gets better quickly and they won't remember
