I think after the five month check up you only get an ultrasound if there's a problem. But I also think it depends on your insurance

my obgyn did an ultrasound every time and I wasn't high risk or anything, but she couldn't tell me her weight after a while so I had to go to a different office for that but she made the appointment for me
