I don't know what dimpling means but no your stomach cramping doesn't mean you are dilating. If your stomach is tightening up though every few minutes or you keep cramping then go to the hospital.

Dimpled cervix is when the external is is slightly opened but the internal is is still closed. It happens when you start to efface. And it's not quite considered dilated yet. @junebaby or thats how it was explained to me

@junebaby its been tight all day and my back hurts but i havent lost no fluid today

@junebaby The cramping comes and goes i did like they said and drank water took a warm bath then laid down all it did was make him start kicking my pelvic bone and my back hurts

if you are having back pain, tightening and cramps I would go on in and get checked. better to be safe with you being so early.
