No usually they tell you it's too soon to be sure .. I had an elective scan done at 16 weeks instead of waiting until 20 ! We could tell he was a boy at 16 weeks though :)

I've been hearing about a lot of people say they found out at this appointment so I wanted to hear from anyone that personally has, because I've also heard it's too soon...I'm so impatient! @harata87

@mommy122015, i found out right on 14 weeks in the e.r that she was a girl then confirmed it recently at 18 weeks still a girl

I found out at 13 weeks

I was impatient some places might tell you there idea of it but will say they aren't 100% on it and usually get it confirmed at the 20 weeks anatomy scan .. I found an elective place paid $65.00 and found out at 16 weeks :)

Their * Also depends if they are using 2D or 3D I have heard they can usually see it that early in the 3D . My doctor doesn't offer the 3D unless you want to pay out of pocket !

I found out at 14 weeks. I went to an ultrasound place and I got to bring my family so they all got to find out with me. Cost was around $60
