I think I'm going through a little depression right now. I look into my son eyes and I start to cry cause I'm thinking to myself how my life has changed so much. Finding out I was pregnant was the best thing ever. Babies are a blessing. Throughout the whole pregnancy I was preparing myself telling myself yes I'm ready for this I can do this. Never thought it was going to be a walk in the park. But I sure didn't think that it would be this hard. Honestly it not even that hard. It's just some little things that I haven't adjusted to yet. His sleep pattern is out of this world. I'm always tired and when he cries sometimes I get frustrated myself. Me and his dad decided to take that step of working on our relationship. He's there but not like how I need him. My mom is around and trust she had been a big help but sometimes I can't always depend on her. Like now I want to just take a shower then get Carter ready for bed but I can't do that cause she isn't here and my boyfriend is at work. It just a little frustrating. My friends came to visit and one of them has a one year old. His birthday is today actually and I'm looking like man I wish I was at this stage. She said she wants to go back to when her son was a newborn. I'm looking at her like are you crazy. I don't know what it is. I brought him into this world so I'm most definitely going to take care of him no matter how depressed I get. I just needed to vent a little.

It takes time to adjust. Try not to be so hard on yourself. Your baby will eventually fall into a pattern . Once you get your routine set you will feel much better

Thanks. Maybe I am being a bit hard on myself.. It just makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong. Don't get me wrong it's coming slowly but surely just a bit frustrating. @queenof2

@squizzy843, it's all new to you so change can be a little scary & even fustrating. But soon you will be like I got this. Just make the most of your precious moments.
