Day 3: How did I find out?

I usually get me period between day 27 and 29. If I do not get it my the morning of day 28 I take a test with my second pee of the day (all the test stuff is down stairs and I can't make it). I woke up like I usually do and layed in bed for an hour and a half snuggling with my cat. I sat up to take my meds and realized I had to pee. (I have a medical condition that makes it so I can't feel when I have to go nor can I hold it) I went to use the upstairs bathroom because that is where our bedroom is so it's easier and faster to get to. I changed my mind. Stumbling down the stairs, on the phone with my husband, tripping over my cats I made it to the bathroom only to realize there weren't any clean cups. I'm doing the peepee dance now tripping over my own 2 feet trying to get a few cups from the kitchen. Get back to the bathroom and realize I forget the test. I had to pee soo bad at this point it didn't even register to pee then get the test. Still on the phone with my husband I'm trying to get as much pee in the cup as possible. It's a stick test so I hold the test and count to 20 out loud. He has no idea what I am doing, just that I'm making a lot of noise. Usually when I take a test the positive line shows up for a second then disappears. It didn't but I didn't think anything of it. I gathered all my trash and threw it away. When I got back the line was still there and it was darker. I said to David "ummmm babe...I just took a pregnancy test..." my voice was shaking and elevated. "I just took a test and went to throw the package in the trash, came back and it says positive. (started crying) Like a real positive, clear, no confusion positive. (crying harder) I, I, I don't know what to do. I hope this is a true positive." He was at work. He drives truck for a living. When he got to his destination he had to get off the phone so he could vomit. He called me back and asked if I was serious. We've been stress and argument free since and we have made it further than any other pregnancy.
