@spudssmommie, my son was born with a hernia too. its something that happens that we mommies have no control of. some people can be so ignorant nowadays. and for her to state her opinion on something she has no clue on she definitely needs to do some research on the Internet or find a medical book and learn that a baby can infact be born with a hernia. its definitely not your fault momma sometimes things like that happen. so sorry you have to have someone message you and come at you like that.

Idk much about it but I no my mom got a hernia when she was pregnant with me from heavy lifting an I was born with a double hernia.. So ya the baby can deff be born with it

umbilical hernias are very common and most resolve on their own. it's nothing you did during pregnancy. the baby isn't effected by you lifting. they are safe and secure in the amniotic fluid. they just sometimes form during development and it's often with boys.
