Gave Isaiah a bottle of formula right now 😥 I feel like a failure but it seems my milk isn't filling him and he's been skating up every half hour and he screams his head off . So I'm thinking of doing formula at night breast during the day. Did anyone have any problems if they did this? Or was their milk supply still good and not decrease? I'm jut worried my milk will decrease if I feed him formula at night

Your milk will keep decreasing if you do that. If I was you you need to pump while he is eating his formula bottle. I even pumped on one side while he ate on the other. So that my supply kept up. You need to drink at least 60-100 oz of water a day an eat oatmeal.

My baby wasn't gaining enough weight at two weeks. Doc said to keep breastfeeding as usual, making sure you nurse him in both sides each feeding, and then if he's still hungry give him formula. Always breastfeed before touch give them formula. It's been working for me. I don't feel so bad knowing that he's getting all breast milk then formula after. Hope this helps.
