Well. I live in Orlando. So I can tell you. Sunscreen. Baby bug spray. Mosquitos are bad here in the summer.

Oh absolutely!!!! Especially if he's 6 months. If you plan on spending a day on the beach or pool I'd bring a pack n play with an umbrella or canopy. The sun is BRUTAL! What month are you going to be coming down in? @senadas

@senadas, yea. You will definitely want him in the shade. And you're gonna want it too. Stay very hydrated. It's easy to over heat! And bring baby powder. If you let you baby play in the sand. Just sprinkle some baby powder where the sand stuck and it comes right off!!! (:

You prob won't be able to stay in the sun all day, I live in Daytona and the sun gets too much for me some times!! Everything awn0710 said. Just keep baby covered at all times. The best bathing suits for babies here are the swimming shirts and shorts. That way not too much skin is exposed. Again as she said an umbrella or some type of tent is needed and I've actually seen some people bring blow up pools (the mini dollar store ones) or baby bath tubs to the beach for them to sit in so they stay cool
