in a delima... i want us to take baby to go see my hisbands family in Chile like 10-15 weeks after hes born.. my family is arguing i should wait til hes 6 months old to take him.. when hes 6 month old it will be winter in.chile and they dont have central heating (like you can see your breath when you wake up) and i dont want to put baby through that.. (i know babies are born there every day but im not used to that...).. i feel and my doula thinks 10 weeks is fine for travel especially since he will be breast fed... thoughts?

I traveled when my son was about that age. he did very well on the plane. I think it will be fine.

I think if your doula feels he will be fine I don't see why not. Just make sure he has the shots he needs before going

I traveled with my second son when he was 8 weeks old from Germany to the states... I was also breastfeeding and everything went just fine. Just follow what you want to do. My only random advice is to feed the baby during take off and landing for their little ears😁 good luck
