My mom got mad at me because I told her I didn't want to name my kid a name everyone has because I didn't want her to go through what I did when I was in class with 5 other Jennifer's. Like she won't even say the names I chose when I tell her to practice them to make sure she can say them but wants to get mad that I said that.

maybe suggest it as a middle name. or try combining names. If we had a boy I wanted Emilio and my boyfriend wanted luciano (ugliest name ever) & I came up with emiliano. and he liked it. thankfully we didn't have a boy cus another girl named her kid that 😡👊

its my boyfriends moms middle name. and me and him like right away agreed on it. lol. everyone was talking shit about it, now pronounces it perfectly fine and doesn't say anything. I didn't want my daughter having a simple name either like Samantha. there's so many Samantha's. my dads second wife's name is Samantha. like. cmon now. lol. so don't worry. fuck basic names. give your baby a unique one ❤

I had to deal with my family talking shit about the name Ivelisse. saying how could I name my baby something they couldn't pronounce. but its literally pronounced like Eva-Lease . don't worry girl. at the end of the day its YOUR baby. theyll learn how to pronounce it just like everyone in my family did 👌
