So after two weeks of not working due to morning sickness, I picked up shifts for today and tomorrow ( I'm prn at a nursing home) 3-11pm. Now I'm thinking about calling in I just don't feel like wiping ass today(I'm a CNA). But bills are due and I have four other kids to take care of. Also I'm going to let my co workers know I'm pregnant in case I pass out or something. There will be certain assignment I can't work, like being around patients that have mersa. As long as I'm on A wing I'll be fine, where most of the residents are independent or limited. But on B wing all the residents are total and require lifts for transfer and two people to care for them. Telling them know that I'm pregnant is best even tho I don't want to but I gotta keep me and my baby safe also I don't want to put the patients at risk either because I'm too weak or nauseous to lift them. Sorry if this is too long. I just pray I have a easy, smooth day at work today and tomorrow 🙏

I told my supervisors and 2 of my co-workers when I was abt 21 weeks. they kept it to themselves until I was ready. I'm 33 weeks and it's no picnic n the park on overnights..dementia and everything else

Oh I know the work is very hard especially when pregnant...I did it with my last pregnancy, I started at six months then. But as a recent single parent I have no choice @mopace
