My labor story

I was walking through the kitchen and felt a trickle down my leg, I had thought it was my water so I texted my fiance and told him my water might have broken. I awaited a couple hours for the cramping to start, but there was nothing so my fiance's mom took me to labor and delivery to have them check and see if my water had indeed broken and I just wasn't feeling the contractions. They checked me for dilation 3 times but found that it wasn't my water that had broken. Turns out I was having contractions every 6 minutes but I did not feel any of them. so they sent me home

After the doctor, I ended up going home and I started feeling contractions they weren't bad but they did start getting to the point where they were unbearable. I test out the next day, because my baby shower was the day after that.

The morning of my baby shower my contractions had gotten to the point where I was crying and I couldn't sleep and I texted my fiance and told him and my aunt that after the baby shower I was going to the hospital because I could not take the pain anymore. during my baby shower I was having contractions and they started getting really close together and really strong. at 4 p.m. on May 30th, I went to the hospital and went to labor delivery at 4:30 p.m. where they checked me for dilation and said I was five centimeters dilated, I waited in the delivery room till 8 p.m. Where I continued dilating.

They ended up putting the epidural in my back and I was crying because I swore I could not do it. The doctor came in and broke my water and said I was 6 centimeters dilated .

my fiance was looking at the machine at where I was having contractions, and all of a sudden I had a really long and strong contraction and it started to go down and then started to go up again and it hurts so bad I had no idea he was coming but I felt like he was because I had not had a contraction like that. So I yelled out he's coming and the doctor checked me for dilation again and said his head was really low and it was time to start pushing. so the doctor left and the nurses and my fiance grabbed my legs and told me to grab the bottom of my legs and start pushing A few minutes later at about 8:15 I started to push harder, because we started seeing his head a couple minutes later he was about to arrive. The doctor came in and told me to push, four pushes later, out came the baby's head and shoulders, and what was left of my amniotic fluid exploded all over my fiance the nurses and the doctor. When they handed me my son all I could do was cry. Arian Tyler Vinger born May 30th at 8:32 p.m. at 6 pounds 4 ounces.

from the time that I started pushing to the time that I gave birth to my son it was only 32 minutes. I am so thankful I had such an easy birth
