@mrs.oliva, you do 2 cups of half and half, 4 table spoons of sugar, and 1 table spoon if vanilla... Put it in a zip lock bag then put that bag in either a container like I did or in a gallon zip lock bag.. Fill whatever you chose to put your ice cream mixture in with ice and kosher or rock salt and shake for about 10 min. And you have ice cream!
