I know I asked already but did anyone else's doctor required them to do a quad test / screening?

@mommavee, u can decline I declined with both of my pregnancies

you can always tell them no, I had one because my mom was born with spina bifida so I always get tests when pregnant although this one is causing more stress then my 1st

@mommavee, yes it does, my nurse that I had with my 1st told me she got it done and came back her ba y had all these problems and wasn't going to live long and she was thinking about aborting the baby and when he was born he was perfectly fine now he's 13 no problems. So since she told me that I declined bcuz no one in my fam or my husband fam has any major problems so I was like no both times. And my kids are perfectly healthy

@mommavee, just remember that test gives a lot of false positives, after I had mine it came back baby had a 1:41 chance of trisomy 18, we find out for sure hopefully this coming week if it does or not, sometimes thos tests are a blessing and sometimes they just suck!

The dr told me that I shouldn't get it. There is so many false positives and I'm 17 with none of these things In my family so the chances of something being wrong are slim. Plus unless your planning to abort there's really no reason to stress. It's everyone's personal pregnancy and what they'd like to do
