I took it orally I didn't tear at all but had some issues with my after birth that I swear was caused by this.. I also opened the pills and rubbed the oil on my vagina. I never inserted them but know many people that have.. Make sure you tell you doctor though because if she inspects you and the capsule isn't completely dissolved it may get awkward
I did ask my doctor an he approved it for me to use. I didn't think he would. I started taking it by mouth at 35 weeks. I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead so I felt okay doing it orally. I just do one pill a day, if I remember. At 37 weeks I'm going to do one pill In the vagina. From there you are suppose to increase it one per day In the vag. Also do it at night that way it sits in there, bust one first to make sure that you know what it smells like, you will leak it out the next day.
@maddieg4648, well I had my after birth harden and break up into pieces inside of me.. The doctors couldn't get it out and nearly had a take me for a d&c right after birth... Thank goodness I was dilated completely (made it easier for the doctor) they basically had to put his whole hand inside me and use a tool to scrap it out.. He said it could have been that I was further than what they thought or that it could have been from any medication I was taking.. I was taking the evening prim rose and a thyroid medication

vaginally. I'm scared of it not dissolving so I cut it and put the oil on my finger and put it up there (sorry tmi)
