So the thought that Patrick could come in five or less weeks scares me...has anyone measured two weeks ahead and was still late or had their baby around their original due date? And was the baby just like big? Tell me about it please

Bradley always measured ahead and I had him around my due date he came out 8.13 lbs

I'll let you know 😁 I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead right now. They never changed my due date. So I'm 36 weeks measuring 38. They did a u/s this week an she is the size that my son was! He was born at 39 weeks.

I'm not super concerned about her being to big, but she is already 6 lbs 15 oz. that's what my son was, so I know even in 2 weeks she won't be 10 lbs. 😂

If you're worried about him coming before 37 weeks don't even worry! If you go into labor before 37 they'll stop labor and send you home. Also you should be getting ultrasounds to see the size of your baby. Always ask when they're scanning you when your next measuring will be. When they measure they can closely estimate the weight of the baby. The average for 35 weeks is 5 and 1/2 lbs and I measured at 7lbs. If your baby becomes "too" big in your doctors opinion then they will talk to you about inducing before 40 weeks. Or there's a possibility with a bigger baby that they might just come early. But you won't be having him before 37 weeks unless there's a complication! Plan for everything to be ready before then and after that sit back and wait! :) Good luck!
