Have any of you got a negative on a pregnancy test at 5 wks? I think I ovulated late because of an irregular cycle. My last period was April 16th. And now I'm spotting I believe. There's no new blood. Just old. This has been going on for 4 days now though. No cramps no nothing. Just brown blood in small amounts. Since my last period was April 16th I'd be around 5 wks if I am pregnant though. But I took a test 4 days ago and it was a BFN. /:

your hgc levels are supposed to rise so if you get a negative after a positive you could have miscarried

my Lpm is nov, I didn't get a postive till jan had old blood in dec didn't get a positive till January when period was suppose to come and never came

if you ovulated late, it might be too soon to test and the spotting could be implantation bleeding... if it is then you won't get a positive for a couple days after. Have you had a positive test this cycle?

I haven't got a positive test. I've only tested once a few days ago after I thought my period was late and then I started spotting. I miscarried last year in April but i got a + at around 5 weeks. I didn't noticed I missed my period until the very end of March so when I tested it was faint. Then I bled while I was pregnant and miscarried 2 days later. I have only got a negative this go around. The bleeding is freaking me out though. I think I am pregnant but the test said negative but my cycles have been all out of wack. The last 4 were 25, 26, 30, then 36 in length.

Babyboo2 did you spot and have blood for over 3 days? I think it's strange it's lasted this long. But it is not a period at all. It's not normal.

So you think I just am implant bleeding late since my periods are irregular and I probably ovulated late?

I think the best way to find out is going and having a blood test done. Sometimes it takes women a week after their missed period to get a positive test.

The only problem is I don't know when my period was supposed to start. I am getting more tests tomorrow. My boyfriend is stopping on his way home from work.
