I'm getting to the point where work is killing me. I'm a server. I REFUSE to stop working though just yet. Keeping active will probably help me more in the long run. I will be taking the four weeks off before my due date, and only because the state of California allows for the four (payed) weeks before & then maternity leave after. Plus, after the baby arrives, I won't be going back to work. When did all of you girls go on "maternity leave"?

I went on leave 2 weeks before my due date so at 38 weeks.

I feel the same way being a hairstylist but I feel like it will make him come maybe a week or two earlier. Lol well I'm hoping anyway. But I'm working until I can't anymore so we will see

@edomke, you're due one day after me! 😄 I am hoping for the same thing! I've had a textbook pregnancy so far though, so I'm thinking she will probably be right on time. Haha.

I have to stop work completely:( . I'm going to work up until I have him (hopefully) my work doesn't offer maternity leave. That sounds amazing that you get four weeks also though! Much needed relaxation time.

@anim, I think all states should be the same when it comes to maternity leave. For men AND women. It's unfair that each state is different.
