I have a question.. It's a little weird but I want to know others opinions on this... So I had a friend on fb who let her 2 year old daughter out side in the sun with shorts and a hat. No shirt... She put sun screen on her daughter but still I believe she should have put a shirt on her daughter. It was only at there house but I feel there is two reasons the child should have a shirt on. One- bc there are so many pedophiles out there these days and two- even though she put sun screen on her kid she could still get burnt. Then she posted like 9 of the photos on fb.. I just commented and said that I think her daughter should put a shirt on and she got all upset and said I was telling her what to do with her kid... I didn't mean it like that at all. Then asked me right on her post "Do you still smoke" I used to smoke cigarettes but up to 2 months ago I finally quite!!!! I am going to be a good mom and I am not saying my ex friend is not a good mom I just think that she should have put a tank top or something on her daughter!

Would you still feel she needed to put a shirt on if she had a boy...? A baby is a baby and my mom let me wear no shirts even when I was a toddler. It gets super hot out and my son gets super sweaty & I keep his onsie off sometimes & id do the same if I had a daughter.

Yes in my opinion people should all be clothed. At least shorts and a tank top. But that's just me.

I think it's weird to find a problem with it. Not like the little girl has boobs yet. I think you are over thinking it... And making it gross when it doesn't need to be. If it was actually pictures of her naked of course that is scary but shirtless... At that point she is still just a toddler and it shouldn't be considered inappropriate

I am just saying I wouldn't let my adult daughter walk around topless so why let them as a baby? That's just my thought. I may be to worried but I know how pedophiles are and I don't want my kid to be abducted and mulested but that's just me.

Oh wow, I'll agree to disagree. A baby body is not a grown up body... And even comparing the two is creepy to me. Ridiculous.

The only reason I agree slightly is because I believe in teaching girls early that they need to cloth themselves more than boys because girls have boobies and boys don't. I know at 2yrs old that is hard to understand and girls don't have boobs yet. But I would, and will do this for my daughter because it's what I believe, put a bikini top on her with shorts.

I would put a shirt on my baby n have an umbrella for her so the sun won't hit her... 😳 but that's her baby... u can't do anything about it... :/

@boymama, you said it was creepy of me to think that way.. No I am over protective there is a difference. And I did ask opinions but not to judge me. People have different beliefs and in some religious groups the children have to be covered from head to toe at all times that's all I am saying! And @anqiee323 you are right, I don't want to be mean to my ex friend I simply just said shouldn't the child have a shirt on? But I guess it was taken the wrong way.
