The epidural isn't too bad. They give it to you in between contractions and I had a nurse holding me in the front and held her hand when they gave me mine your main focus is breathing in between the contractions

the epidural is not bad at all im scared of needles too but the needle to draw blood is actually bigger then the one they use for the epidural, its soo thin

that was a bigger fear for me then labor and i didnt even feel it...its not that bad.

Don't over think it. Labor pain is much harder and worse than an epidural. So just look at it positively :)

It's scary until the moment you're getting it and then once get it you're going to be like oh that was it!!! That was easy lol👏

With the amount of pain your going to be in, a epidural isn't going to be crap!!!! Lol I don't even remember mine hurting at all an I was only 2 cm.

it's not as bad as people make it . you just have to arch your back like an angry cat and they tell you to be still but just tell the nursed in the beginning your nervous and they will talk to you and hold your hand and tell you to breathe so you don't pass out . as soon as you feel that cold numbing medicine go on your back that's it you won't feel anything else and it's over in 30 seconds

. I never got the epidural cuz I am a big baby. But they gave me meds and they knocked me out. And I didn't feel much.
