I'm so thankful for my doctors. At the beggining of my pregnancy it was horrible. My doctors were scared. I was never supposed to be able to conceive in my life. My mother had my baby sister for me and wanted to be my surrogate. I fell pregnant in the slimmest of odds. Literally one time and a couple days after my period. I knew I was pregnant before I missed my period. I was taught to tune into my body. As the pregnancy progressed it was hard. I had to battle my own chronic illness, my mental health took a toll and everyday life was hard for me. Getting out of bed became a chore. It all came down to my appointment. I was going in twice a week to be monitored. It was then told to me your not going home without a baby. Call your family. My pregnancy was daily at 37 weeks. My body couldn't tolerate it anymore. Three days of contracting and it came down to me being shaken awake to the sound of my babies heart beat fading. They sent me immediately for a csection and told me I was going under. It needed to be done now or he would die and the idea of that only drive me to my own grave. I woke up confused with no stomach no baby and a ton of people. Two days later I was allowed to hold him hooked up to so many wires. He was what I fought for. It was more than worth it. ❤️
