I see nothing wrong with it, with me, my nose got bigger and somehow rejected my nose ring which was not cool. Other than that, in think it's doable.

personally I wouldn't just because of the risk of infection....if you did get an infection it could harm the baby. I don't think places will even do it if you're pregnant.

This is my piercing I had for 8 months. It was infected the whole time. I had it removed yesterday because I treated the infection and it started rejecting.

I got my nose pierced and because the oils on my face it was a constant battle of it getting infected. so with infection beinf a higher risk while pregnant I wouldnt.

@bengsmom10, which piercing is that? And I'd wait so I wouldn't be putting the stress of pain on the baby. I'm going to re pierce my belly button and get my gauges back up to 00g after I give birth

Chest microdermal. Not the same as face, I understand that but just trying to show risk of infection to people that don't heal properly. I wish I could get my gauges back to what they were but like I said I don't heal so it's not worth the discomfort and smell to me.

@bengsmom10, I've never had an infection in my tattoos nor while my ear piercings were healing. I don't THINK I'm prone to infection, but of course I'm scared of getting one, pregnant or not. I think I'd be fine because I'm this super huge germ freak while tattoos are healing. Also, microdermals suck to heal - I don't personally know from experience, but I have friends. Kudos to you for sticking it out so long trying to get it to heal!!
