grrr okay so my daughter is almost 3 weeks old and everyone keeps telling me to let her cry it out. HELL NO. She's a NEW BORN. I could understand like 2 months old but not 3 WEEKS! She was a sick baby and I didn't get to be with her much the first week of her life. my daughter cries I'm going to hold her. she's MY daughter. let me be her mother 😈😈😈

I know how you feel my mom let me cry it out... and I'm very independent. . and our relationship is kinda distant now ... I'm gonna comfort my son too

Crying it out is NOT okay until at least six months of age. Eff that!!! We did cry it out method with my son when he was seven months old. We never let him cry for more than 20 mins and it only took 3 nights to get him sleeping in his crib with no crying. So he did pretty good with crying it out but I never would've kept making him do it if it had gotten any worse than 20 mins.

my son's 2 months if I let him cry it out I'm certain he would pass out. he honestly has never cried for no reason. u do what u thinks best. Dont listen to anyone. especially that young. he wants his mom. not want NEEDS

I actually read the other day in a baby book that I bought that this is one of the worst things you can do for a baby. Especially one so little. Comforting them when they cry teaches them that they are safe and secure in their environment. Not doing so can cause attachment issues, stress, and broken trust with the parent. When they cry that young it is because they need something or are uncomfortable, not to annoy. So I understand where you are coming from! Don't listen to them and tell them to do their research lol!!
