OK ladies who have miscarried....how long after a miscarriage did you wait to try again? I've talked…

Me and my fiance tried right away.. but we didn't end up getting pregnant for 4 months... I find that if you don't try it will happen

in your opinion do you all think its safe? I don't want to use birth control or anything with my husband esp since we tried for 7 months to get pregnant with this last pregnancy. I want my kids close in age so badly and really am feeling empty and wanting to try again.

I've had three hun and the least we waited was 4 months the most about 6. Let your uterus get back to normal and heal. Let it get strong.. This 4th pregnancy (I'm 38 weeks today, praise the Lord) was when we weren't trying... I would wait a little and then just relax and let it happen when it's meant to be. @jamielynn07

We weren't actively trying after our last miscarriage but we decided not to do anything to prevent it. It took about 6 months to get pregnant again

I agree with @morrinlove5185. Give it some time and then when your body's ready it'll happen :)

thank you guys! my gut is telling me to wait to be safe but my heart is screaming get pregnant haha. a few months will go by fast and its probably better to be on the safe side.

I actually had an ectopic and I didn't wait not even a week and now I am 26 weeks and everything is going good!

It took us 8 months to get pregnant the first time and i miscarried in August when I was 8 weeks I didn't have to have a d&c and we didn't do anything to prevent me getting pregnant again but I conceived Again in October now I'm almost 36 weeks with a healthy baby girl due any day now! ☺️

that's wonderful for both of you @adelinasmomma and @dalkyv24 !! I'm going to wait to get my first period and see how that goes. also I have an ultrasound tuesday to make sure I passed everything even though my Dr is certain I did because my bleeding stopped a couple days after. so maybe they will be able to tell me more then. I'm sort of searching for a safe go ahead..esp because my husband travels and isn't home often so I have very little change of conceiving each month.

I miscarried at 5 weeks in October 2014 and got pregnant again November 2014. we weren't trying either times but my pregnancy and labor/delivery was pretty much perfect the 2nd time and now my daughter is a healthy 9 month old

I didn't bleed at all other than from the miscarriage which my doctor considered just a late period.

I didnt. I think I was a little afraid that I would miscarry again if I fell pregnant right away. After 4 nonths I had a succesful pregnancy.@jamielynn07,

I miscarried in the end of November and I got pregnant again 2.5 month after that in February. Doctor told me I don't have to wait and I can try as soon as I get my period back.

I figured since I was only 7-8 weeks along that it wouldn't take me that long to recover. @anastay.p I can't wait until my next ultrasound so they can see how my uterus looks and then maybe they will give me the go ahead.
