I'm in need of advice...About a month after I moved to Atlanta for London I found out I was pregnant. My boyfriend still lives in London and I only moved here because my visa expires and my mom lives here. I don't have any friends here because I never lived here and it feels like my life is on hold. even though my immediate family is here I still feel really alone sometimes and would like someone who can relate to me to talk to. A lot of the time my boyfriend is either working or sleeping or out with friends and I don't feel like we talk enough. It feels like he's living his life and mine is on stand still. I try to let him know how I feel but I don't think he understands. it feels like he fits me into his schedule and just speaks to me when he has an open gap. I don't feel like a priority sometimes and I don't think he realizes that all I want is for him to be there for me. But on the other hand sometimes I feel like may be I'm asking for too much and it isn't his responsibility to make sure I'm not feeling lonely. I don't know what to do. I don't know how to feel and I don't know how to handle this. I just know that I feel so sad all the time and I don't want to feel this way anymore.

Idk what to say because I've never been in that situation. All I can say is communicate with him. Maybe he doesn't realize what he's doing. And you can't blame him if he doesn't know what he's doing wrong. Long distance relationships suck and you both have to be willing to work at it and keep the lines of communication open. I hope things get better for you though.

@beaniebaby, I know exactly how you feel. My bf makes me feel the same way and he lives only 5 mins or so up the street from me. All I want is for him to be more supportive and show he cares but like you mentioned, its hard feeling like he has to make time to fit me in his schedule. Like dude this baby will be here in under 4 months and I'm tired of feeling alone. But if you need someone to talk to and relate, I'm here

@mommy3, thanks so much. I thought because my situation is so unique no I ever would be able to relate but it's good to know someone understands. my boyfriend is a really good guy but I don't think he realizes how important just being there is, especially in a long distance relationship. Thanks much for responding.

@beaniebaby, Yes I understand, it gets hard and sometimes just a simple call or text ("How are you feeling today" or "Even though I'm not around, you're always on my mind") is enough to lift our spirtit in our rime of need but men don't always think about what we want or need. I hate to have to ask for anything especially if I'm supposed to be a priority. I mean I've been in a long distance relationship before and I got way more attention then I'm getting now. It's weird but I'm hanging in there because just when I feel like pulling back, he does something to make me feel good again. Just follow your heart hun and do what you feel is best for you and your unborn
