So a girl i went to school with was pregnant and wen she was 37 weeks she thought she was going into labor she was having contractions and everything so he went to the er and they did an ultrasound and found no heart beat. Her dr then told her that her baby's umbilical cord had disconnected from the placenta so the baby lost oxygen and died. How common is this??? I'm really really scared now that I learned this could happen! Please help! Has anybody else ever heard of this?

i have never heard of that happening. i dont think to would be very common though. gosh thank god i didnt know about that when i was pregnant. im sure everything will be ok with your pregnancy but i know its so hard not to worry.

@vondab490, yes I heard some stories like that but I don't let those stories get to me at all I just feel sorry for those that it has happened to . Remember no stress or you stress the baby . Happy mom equals a happy healthy baby
