What age is best to start taking kids to the dentist? My daughter is 1 1/2, but she wouldn't sit…

My sons pediatrician says only take them before two years old if you notice something wrong with their teeth, like black spots, stains, a weird smell, etc. If not then you're supposed to take them for heir first visit around two years old!

I worked as a dental assistant and your supposed to take them when they get teeth..

I was told 3 for all my children ( unless there is a problem) because they are officially done teething by the age of 3 all four of my babies have fantastic teeth I must say !

Just call the dentist that will clear it up for you.. As soon as my kid starts getting teeth I will take her.. Obviously if she has one you don't need to take them.. But four five six that's a lot of teeth our babies can get cavities from milk and juices especially if your not brushing there teeth regularly ive seen babies by two in a half with a mouth full of silver so I do not suggest waiting until your child is three to go to the dentist
