he's belief is if the pregnancy is complicated or the child isn't "normal" you shouldn't go through with it. he talks to me like I'm a child, or if my partner is with me then the doc completely ignores me and only talks to my him. he never examines me or answers my questions, he just talks over me :-/ I feel like going there is a complete waste of my time and just stresses me out. rant over lol xx

@essex-angel, you should ask for another doctor and make a complaint against him because no one should make u feel like that especially since your pregnant. I'm really angry for you and I'm glad I have my mum to support me through my appointment

Yeah I agree with the above, he sounds really unprofessional, his job is to reassure you and check you're doing well, atm he's doing the opposite x

aw thank u ladies. yeah I will look into complaining and changing. I told him I didn't feel comfortable at his appointments and he said I have to attend or he'll document it that I'm refusing medical help for myself and baby. I have a month til next appointment so will make some phonecalls on Monday x

That's disgusting. He is in absolutely no position to treat you like that. File a complaint and ask to see a new consultant!! Xx

disgusting! i agree with the girls. don't put up with it. i saw a midwife for my first booking app (i now have a consultant cos im high risk too) and she was so rude and judgemental and made me cry too. i was adamant that if i was offered her again id refuse. dont put up with it hun. this is a special time don't let him ruin it! xx

Defo complain! He sounds like an absolute asshole!! Ur not refusing medial treatment ur refusing to be mistreated by someone who sounds like he hasn't got a brain!!! Xx

u girls are getting me all fired up for a complaint on Monday lol I shall put my foot down. @cwev I did say I'm not refusing treatment, I want the best for my baby, but he just carried on tapping away on his computer. I might put up with him if he actually spoke to me/examined me but I feel I'm just getting stressed for nothing. @bubble well done for putting ur foot down. this is my first (and probably last) pregnancy so I'm trying to enjoy it :) thanks for all ur messages everyone xx
