The hospital will provide formula, but if you have a preferred formula, you might want to bring it. Same with bottles, but I don't know that one for sure. Pillow is up to you. Can't hurt, but you might end up bringing it and not using it. Depends on your preference. And car seat canopy is not necessary. You can use a blanket. That's another personal preference thing. Those canopy things are expensive.

I say bring your boppy! I loved having mine. And the built in shade canopy on my sons car seat did the job when we were leaving the hospital so you should be fine but you can always use a blanket too. I did end up buying a car seat canopy though because the website was giving them for free if you paid shipping. I really liked having one with my son and plan on getting another for this time around.

You don't NEED to being any of that stuff. its completely up to you. The hospitals use Similac advance and come pre-made in bottles that you only have to screw the closed top off then put the packaged nipple on and its ready to go. the boppy pillow you use it because you want to. its not like you have to use it. and the car seat canopy isn't necessary to leave the hospital. you use it because you want to.

@caracross1, I am right there with you! There's this funny Dad that wrote a blog post about packing the hospital bag. He says to dads that they should let the mom pack a bag, AND LEAVE IT AT HOME! Hahahha. In the end, we have everything we need to provide for our baby. You will be fine! Best of luck 😊

@bgeorge28, lol. I know, it's funny because I know I'm stressing over all this and in the end I probably won't need any of the stuff I packed and the way my brain has been lately, I'll forget the bag anyway. Lol
