My husband is a very nice person and thoughtful. The list can go on. However, he has many things that I wish he was more sensitive about. Example, the other day we got in a "fight" because he made me cry because he didn't feel comfortable feeling my belly when Liam kicked. Of course Liam stopped when he went to touch my belly and he got a little annoyed. He never asks to touch my tummy either. And says when we hug my tummy is awkward.
Don't get me wrong he is very excited to be a dad and is very loving but these things he gets weird lol. Sometimes my Pregger hormones get to me and it hurts my feelings. He feels awkward talking to the baby or touching my belly and I of course expected him to "want" to and be more excited. Anyone else have this experience?
He loves shopping for him and is excited other ways, just not in this way.

My fiancé told me he isn't as connected to our baby as me but he loves her and is excited for her. He doesn't talk to her because he says I just don't know what to say to her and she doesn't kick for him either. It kinda hurt me when he said he wasn't as connected as me but at the same time we have to understand that guys connect to baby a lot differently than us mommies do

My daughters dad was like that it caused me to harbor such resentment he says his mom/family wasn't all touchy feely ppl so that's awkward to him he's more hands on active so when baby get here he will be into her not the idea of her cuz she's in belly he can't see or feel her right now. Well she's here now n he is very into her but it really put a damper in our relationship because I felt even if that stuff is not something he is used to once I let him know it was a problem he should have made an effort to do those things just to appease me n since he didn't I felt like he wasn't into the relationship since he couldn't sacrifice his being weirded out for a few months needless to say we are not together 😕

my husband has never been the overly sensitive type, but he also has a son, he says because this isn't his first time going through this he's excited but he can't be as excited as me because I'm the only one who can feel her right now, he's also scared of the idea of having a girl, he's a great father to his son so I have no doubt he will love our daughter just as much but I get really mad at him sometimes when he doesn't get all excited over little things like I do

Thanks for sharing girls. My husband can be sensitive but sometimes he just acts so weird. We talked about it and I see his side but at the moment I was hurt. But all is good. :)
