He might've marking his territory because he knows. If he's not already fixed, I would fix him. That made our cat stop.

it sounds like he is making his territory and maybe is mad at you guys. have you given him the same amount of attention? also I would leave the baby's room closed off from him. there is no way that I know of to remove the stink of cat urine from furniture. I actually had a cat once that marked his, territory on some of my clothes...I had to throw the clothes out and keep my closer shut.

I've been giving as much attention as I can to him and he's just been worse today , I keep the baby's room closed now and I've been cleaning off the furniture that he just peed on and sprayed it so hope it helps a little , he still uses his litter box so I don't know why he picks to go somewhere else @mrsmommy

It's a territory thing/wanting attention thing for sure. cats are smart and let us know when they are pissed at us by pissing on our stuff.... haha just bring home a baby blanket from the hospital and give it to the cat so he can get used to the scent b4 you come home with baby. Also fixing him should help. look into the local shelter & see if they do it for cheaper.
