The dog will sense your fear and then know it has domination over you. You need to be the Alpha model in your house or the dog will be and if you're afraid of dogs that's the last thing you want.

Go to dog training even if the dog is trained go for you to know how to handle the dog. Once you know better and the dog knows you're the Alpha one not him it'll get better. And remember don't blame that dog for what other dogs did to you it's not fair to the dog or to you. You'll never have a good relationship with that dog if you blame it for the past. I've been attacked by a few dogs but I don't blame another for what happened and I own 3 dogs.

I'm trying to but idk how . when you been terrorized by something you don't know to handle it. it's like my fear of heights. I don't think I can ever overcome that. but I will try with this dog.

@monilovesautumn, dogs can sense that you're pregnant! My dogs LOVE babies/children. My pit would guard them with her life! Another dog tried to attack my little brother and my pit some how came running from a room in the house, bolted outside and tackled the other dog! Sounds scary. But she saved his life. And in the end she was fine. But the other dog got taken away by animal control and put down. And you just have to form a bond with the dog! Feed it. Pet it. Walk it. Give it treats. Show it that you can demand basic things. Like sit. Stay. Lay down. Whatever commands the dog knows. What type of dog is it? If it's a pit I have A LOT and very extensive experience with the breed!

yea it's a pit /terrier mix just got it today and he's a really sweet dog. he follows me everywhere lol. like I was making my daughter something to eat he came over and start sniffing everything lol and then I'm cleani.g out my closet he comes and lays right there like go head I got you

Yup my dogs were glued to me when I was pregnant. And one is still convinced my baby is his baby.
