I have to have a c section. I had my daughter at 28 weeks 6 days so the cut though a thick part of my uterus. if I have strong contractions it could bust open....not good for me or baby!

Agree with you! When I tell someone that I had a csection I feel like the judge me right away! Like oh you did want to have natural labor! But the fact is they don't know I was in labor for 24 hours and pushed for 4 hours straight! And then had a csection! Recovered from both areas! I would just say Ignore them!

@octoberbaby2012, I usually just laugh at them. I'm not due till the end of June, it bugs me for others.

I was in "early labor" for 3 days and also pushed for 4 hours they put me in for a c section I also had to get epidural put in 3 times because I have scoliosis and they ended up having to do a spinal tap (I think that's what they called it) and it ended up going away while the doctor was putting the staples in. 3 months after having my baby I lost all my milk and had to change her to formula. I had never felt so shity before and I thought everyone was judging me and that I wasn't good enough to be a mom because I had to get a c section and couldn't BF anymore. It took my awhile to get over it and even sometimes I still get down on myself about it, which I find odd cause it was all out of my control and because I don't think any less of other moms who have had c sections or formula feed. But I'm getting better and realize after everything I had to do just to have her doesn't make me any less of a mom and that I'm fantastic hahaa and so are all other moms who deliver by c section or natural with epidural and without all that matter is that mommy and baby are healthy... I have only had one person say something negative to my face about me have a c section and getting an epidural and that was my massage lady and it hurt my feelings a lot that no matter what I went threw in that hospital didn't matter to her and she was rude about it.. I drove home so upset and had to just come to terms that I can't change peoples mind and thoughts. It's sad that even though mommy and baby are both safe and healthy we still get judged by society because we didn't give birth "the right way"

I don't by any means think any mother is less a woman or mom because she had a c-section. My mom had a c-section for me and my sister and so did my grandma and they are both strong ass mothers. I just want to have a vaginal birth because I'm scared of the recovery of a c-section. But in my mind no woman is less a mother because she couldn't vaginally deliver or breastfeed.
